I’ve opened a new virtual gallery/show titled mise en abyme/into the abyss.
The ”mise en abyme” is used in this exhibition as a pictorial device, a snapshot of time from a past exhibition presented in a “now” but mirroring the exhaled breath of an expired thought.
An extension of the duel concepts of “ digital mimesis and digital simulacrum” but introducing an extended dimension of a mirrored temporal surface of the simulated artworks on display.
